On my own

By billybling, 2006-10-10

And now, I'm on my own,
And you, Your perched on your throne,
And you Cry, almost every night,
For me to come home, to come home.......and fight.

I'd like to thank Ryan Hunter, Johnny B Hive, Nectaria, Mike from Seven Nation Army, and Jan The Man for helping me find the courage to go solo. Thank you all.

My Life

By silicious, 2006-09-22

I am a one-woman band, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota ghetto, where pimps and prostitutes were our role model. So I sing for the poor souls closest to the street, the ones who suffer the most.

When I was growing up, I´d go in my bedroom, close the door and bust out laughing. My mother knew I was in there alone, and thought this ghetto-child needed some serious checking, and took me to a psychiatrist. He said nothing was wrong, except I was a bit eccentric. My brother put it a different way: "Anyone that talented can´t be wrapped too tight."
